Congcong Wang

Ms. Congcong Wang's passion for music was nurtured from a young age by her involvement in dancing, creative composition and piano. At the age of 12, Ms. Wang dedicated her studies to Bel Canto vocal performance. She received Master's of Music in Vocal Performance from the prestigious Boston Conservatory of Music, and State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as earned Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from the Central Music Conservatory of China. She has studied voice and opera with Professor Kathryn Wright, Johnathon Pape, Tony Arnol, Joan Caplan, Amy Burton, Michael Strauss and Andrew Altenbach. Congcong's past performances include engagements with Boston Lyric Opera, Berklee Performance Center.
Ms. Congcong has performed as the principal role of “La Bohem” “Beatrice et Benedict” “Ipehigenie en tauride” in The Boston Conservatory of Music, as opera soloist she performed at Summer program in Manhattan School of Music as well as personal recital in The Boston conservatory Master’s recital. Ms. Congcong represents of International Musician as soloist performed at Boston Government and state legislators offered condolences to the Chinese Embassy as well as New England Chinese Professionals New Year Gala and Community Enrichment Forum. During her undergraduate years, Ms. Wang appeared as a soloist with China Conservatory's Bel Canto opera performance and soloist Recitals. At the same time, Ms. Congcong was active in the popular music and musical theater scenes as Golden prize of singer in popular music in Chinese Music Golden Bell Award Pop music contest. Congcong has performed leading roles of "Phantom of The Opera" “Die Zauberflote” “West side story” In China Conservatory of Music.
Ms. Congcong won the gold prize in the China Music Theater Competition in 2010 and also won the top prizes in the competitions for singing, acting, dancing, piano as well as chorus at the Anniversary Festivals of National Conservatory. (Sponsored by Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Wuhan Conservatory of Music and Xi’an Conservatory of Music) Especially, she have the honor of Best singer award in Chinese Music Golden Bell Award Pop music contest and 3rd prize popular singer group at Thirteenth National CCTV Young Singer TV Contest, Finals Hubei area. 1st prize both in both bel canto team and popular team Wuhan City contest area the 9th national Dandelion Contest.
In 2011, Ms. Wang acquired the Chinese high school teaching certificate and as a Private singing, sight singing and dictation tutor. She also have skills in Piano (advanced), Guitar (intermediate), Dancing (Latin, Jazz, girls hip pop, national folk dance in advanced) Golf (advanced) Drawing, Sight Singing, Composition, Improv, Songwriting, Arranging, AV recording. In the future, Ms. Wang wishes to contribute to the music education in Los Angeles. Congcong is currently accepting students of all different musical backgrounds with a passion for singing that wish to develop a healthy tension-free vocal technique, stage confidence, and musical expression. All styles of repertoire are encouraged (musical theatre, pop, classical bel canto opera, national folk songs etc.). All students interested in performance opportunities are invited to participate in public Studio Recitals a few times a year, as well as monthly Performance Workshops with an extensive background in pedagogy, foreign languages and stage performance.
