Johann Choy

(Drums/Cajon)

 

      Having over 7 years experience performing and teaching.  Johann started learning drumming/percussion at the age of 13.Choy graduated from Los Angeles College of Music, (AA & BA Hons in drum performance), studied under Joe Pocaro and Ralph Humphrey, specializes in different styles of music such as Jazz, Rock, R & B, Funk and so on.

 

       Choy had a lot of live performaning experience around the world, including China, Singapore, Taiwan, the United States and Malaysia. In 2012 and 2014 he toured several cities in Mainland China with Steve Wong, bassist of the famous Hong Kong famous rock band Beyond.
