Shujun Li (Cello)
Shujun Li started to learn cello with Zhai Yuanguo, a cellist of
He Nan Theater Symphony at age of 9. One year later, she won
the Golden Prize in an youth musical instrument competition.
In 2010, she got in Xi'an Conservatory and studied with Han
Xiaoying. She was a principal cellist of Xi'an Conservatory Youth Symphony and Conservatory Youth Traditional Instruments
Orchestra. She had participated in a bench of master classes and performances. In 2011, she had performed "Dun Huang Yin Hua" in Lan Zhou Theatre and Grand National Theatre as a member
of Conservatory Traditional Instruments Orchestra. 2012, she
had an opportunity to study with Barbara Kavanaugh and David Alan Harrell, the principal of American National Symphony. In
both of 2013 and 2014, she participated in MasterWorks Festival with a full scholarship. During the school years, she had
recorded a number of contemporary music. Also, she was a
cellist of Wang Lihong Concerts in both 2010 and 2014. She was a principal cellist of Shan Xi Radio Symphony in 2012 and 2014.
In the other hand, she performed Kol Nidrei by Max Bruch and Nocturne by Tchaikovsky with Liang Shan Symphony as a
soloist in 2014.
